About molluscum
Molluscum is a contagious viral skin condition that can spread through skin‑to‑skin contact or shared personal items. If not treated, the molluscum bumps can last for many months or even years. Because the infection can spread, healthcare providers often recommend avoiding scratching, not sharing towels or clothing, and covering bumps during activities that involve skin-to-skin contact. You may also have to take time off from work or school for multiple doctor visits. Learn more about the impact of molluscum.
ZELSUVMI results
ZELSUVMI is applied once daily for up to 12 weeks. You should treat any new bumps that appear and continue to apply ZELSUVMI until the bumps go away. Make sure you refill your prescription so you have enough to treat all the molluscum bumps. Results may be different for each person and the bumps may clear at different times. You should talk to your doctor about your progress and response to treatment.
The clinical studies with ZELSUVMI lasted 12 weeks and measured how many people had complete clearance of all their molluscum bumps at that time. Some patients saw their molluscum bumps start to go away sooner. However, every patient is different, and your results and timing may vary. Talk to your doctor about your response to treatment. See more about study results with ZELSUVMI.
